Ear Taping

Have your puppy's ears fallen forward after you brought them home? Below are a few options on keeping those ears upright.

All CTxBT puppies' ears are taped from 3 - 4wks of age. However, some little ears are more stubborn than others and require support for additional weeks.  Find what works best for you, but here are a few youtube videos I've found to be helpful.

Post Purchase Blues - What happened to my sweet little Biewer?

Did you bring home your CTxBT puppy only to find their behavior changing unexpectedly after just a few weeks?

Any dog will quickly learn how to take charge if given the opportunity.

The video linked below features two Yorkies and Cesar Millan, offering valuable guidance on shaping the long-term behavior you want for your new puppy. While Biewer Terriers are generally calmer than Yorkies, this video provides useful insights for any breed.

CTxBT Products

I’ve had the opportunity to use several different products over the years breeding Biewers. While these products are by no means the best or only options, they are ones I personally use.  Hopefully, these recommendations will help shorten the time it takes for you to discover what works best for you.

If you would like this list emailed to you, just chat me with your request and email address and I'll send over my Word document. Most products are available on Amazon.

Biewer Terrier Growth Chart

Quick note on growth charts. I use a combination of them to get an estimate. This one lists Biewers specifically but there is a lot of variation in end results, see the pic above. Just be mindful that growth charts are not a perfect science.  For example, the Biewer to the far right is purebred. We were told he would max out at 5 lbs. He varies between 10 - 12.  The Biewer on the far left is 5lbs.  New breeds are tricky. This is one of the reasons I got into Breeding. I am looking for better predictability. (The big Biewer is my daughters)
